Charity screening in aid of Palestine

Join us for a Screening in collaboration with the Freedom for Palestine society, showing a film to raise awareness for the ongoing conflict in Palestine.

There will be free popcorn, however feel free to bring any snacks you would like!

Doors open at 6:30pm, with the film starting at 7pm - Giving you plenty of time to grab some popcorn and pick a seat.

 

Film Description:

A tense and emotionally charged drama set against the backdrop of the 1948 Palestinian Nakba. The film follows a young Palestinian girl named Farha, whose life is turned upside down as she witnesses the violent upheaval of her community. The story is both intimate and universal, dealing with loss, displacement, and the human cost of war.

Trigger Warnings - Threats and Violence

 

At this event, we will have a "Name the Bear" competition, where for £1 you can pick a name for the bear and the winning name will be drawn out of a hat - The person with the winning name gets to take home the bear! All money raised will be donated to the charity "Medical Aid for Palestinians".

We will be accepting both cash and card payments - Any donations will be greatly appreciated!
