The results are in for the 2025-2026 Students’ Union Officer team. Earlier this week, you had the opportunity to vote for the next Students’ Union Officer team. We're thrilled to report a turnout, with 2082 voters and 7299 votes cast. We’d like to say a huge well done to each candidate and campaigner who worked tirelessly throughout the Elections. Running in a Students’ Union Election isn’t easy, and you should all be proud of yourselves.
With the votes in, it is time to announce your new Officer team for 2025-2026. Congratulations to Freya your President; Dobby, your Equity Officer; Bethany, your Activities Officer; and Irfan your Education Officer. You’ve worked incredibly hard through the Elections, and we are excited to see your impact on the students at the University of Huddersfield.
Each Officer plays a crucial role in representing the interests of students and advocating for positive change within the University community. As President, Freya will lead the team and work closely with students, staff, and external stakeholders to address key issues and enhance the student experience. Dobby as Equity Officer, will focus on promoting diversity, inclusion, and accessibility across campus. Bethany, in her role as Activities Officer, will organise events and activities to foster a sense of community and belonging among students. Irfan, as Education Officer, will strive to improve academic support services and ensure that students receive a high-quality education.
