Take control of your wellbeing at the Drug & Alcohol Awareness Workshop on Thursday, 23rd January, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm in OA7/02. This engaging and interactive session will help you learn more about the effects of drugs and alcohol, how to stay safe, and where to find support if needed. It's an important opportunity to make informed decisions about your health and wellbeing.
We'll explore the impact of substance use, highlight practical tips for making healthy choices, and offer guidance on how to help friends or peers who may be struggling. Expect a relaxed atmosphere, useful advice, and an opportunity to ask questions in a safe, welcoming space.
It's not all heavy stuff—this workshop is about providing you with the knowledge and resources to enjoy university life to the fullest while looking after your mental and physical health.
This event is open to all students, staff, and PhD researchers. Whether you want to know more for yourself or learn how to support others, this workshop is for you. Join us to gain the insights and confidence to make smart, healthy choices while navigating life at university.
