Join us for a fun and relaxed musical workshop with hoot creative arts, where we’ll explore raucous songs of the sea through easy-to-sing call and response shanties, rousing melodies, and beautiful ballads. Using a variety of instruments and approaches, we’ll write, play, and sing our own nautical songs as a group. No musical experience is needed, and no one will be put on the spot – just come along, let loose, and enjoy the creative process. This workshop is designed to promote confidence, creativity, and wellbeing, all while having a great time.
Based in Huddersfield, hoot creative arts is an arts and mental health charity offering creative activities that support mental health and emotional wellbeing. Find out more at hootcreativearts.co.uk.
