The severe lack of power sockets in lecture halls; have left many students unable to sufficiently charge their laptops, this has caused issues for students to view or type-up their notes.
University students have to balance and manage different aspects of life, such as work, taking part in clubs/societies, and spending time with their families. This can leave very little time to dedicate on studies.
Being able to take notes during lectures is crucial for students to keep track of their coursework and assignments. This means that access to more power sockets in lecture halls would ensure that all students can fully participate with their studies.
If you've experienced a lack of power sockets in your lecture hall, please comment below which rooms you've had trouble with and we can inform the University about it.

Good idea
Need more powersockets around university to charge phones laptops ipads.
I think power sockets should be included in buildings across campus so you can charge phones, laptops and even power banks. The rooms with a lack of power sockets include HW 01/06 and DS 02/02. It would be particularly helpful if the power sockets installed were the ones with USB charging ports!
More power sockets in general in common areas would be beneficial for all, I have a few in group that can't sit in the library as it is too quiet and feels restrictive for them by having more sockets around campus it will help them focus on their studies in a location of their choice
