Transforming an existing underutilised space—such as the old Digs Office near the 24-hour PC suite—into The Postgraduate Hub would create a welcoming environment tailored to their needs.

 

This space would provide:

 

A Social & Study Lounge – A comfortable, dedicated space where postgraduates can network, collaborate, or unwind.

 

Bespoke Support Services – On-site access to tailored academic and well-being support, including careers advice, research skills, and mental health guidance.

 

Practical Amenities – A communal kettle, microwave, and seating to encourage informal peer support and relaxation.

 

Flexible Workspace – A quiet yet communal setting for independent study or small group discussions.
